Cookeville Pack 355

Hello Pack 355 and friends of Scouting,

I am excited about the 2008 - 09 school year with Pack 355. We have a good solid core of dedicated leaders which means success for our cubs.

Pack 355  believes in having fun!  At the same time, we teach our boys to do their best,

to show respect for their country, to acknowledge duty to God and others, and to develop positive character.  

Along the way, we go camping, create ourselves and our world, participate in many, many other activities, and have lots of FUN!

In the coming months, the pack will participate in the follow:

• Fall Family Camping

• Popcorn Sales

• Lock-in / Belt Loop University

• Christmas Parade

• Pinewood Derby

• Holiday Parties

• Blue and Gold Awards Ceremony

• Spring Family Camping

• Picnics

• Cub Scout Pack 355 Graduation

• A day in the park with Pack 355 families

• Skating In Sparta

• Ice Cream Social

• Day Camp

• and much more

This big effort this year will be placed in family fun, cub growth, and Pack communication. 
The official Pack 355 web site is going to be a primary (but not the only) means of information dissemination.  All activities and events will be listed located on this site, as well as instructions, directions, and den leadership information. 

All leaders and parents are invited to attend all monthly pack leadership meetings.  We will be discussing pack activities, direction, and budgeting.  All records are open to pack members.

I am very pleased to be apart of Pack 355 and I know it will as enjoyable for your son as it has been for mine; actually my entire family.
